Likely born in Enfield, Middlesex, England, or London. Lived at Tewin, Hertford, England.
Thomas married Mary Macky on 15 July 1797 in Tewin, Hertfordshire, England.[1] Mary was the daughter of Robert Macky who owned Tewin House until he sold it to Thomas' father Charles in 1789 (and it was resold by son William in 1803). Robert also owned the next door estate, Marden Hill.
According to one source Thomas and Mary lived at Belmont House in Lyme Regis until 1816. They moved to Caen in Normandy France till Thomas' death in 1818. Mary moved to Paris and remarried, eventually returning to England.
But, "There is a PCC will (dated 1816 and proved 1819) for a Thomas Schreiber 'heretofore of Tewin in the County of Hertford but now of Saint Helier in the Island of Jersey'. ...two sons, Thomas Campbell and Charles Edward, and 'my six daughters' including Sophia Elizabeth and Emma Casamajor."[1]
So it looks like Thomas may have died in St Helier, or at least have written his will there.
Children: Elizabeth (born Edinburgh), Jane (born Tewin), Sophia (born Lyme Regis), George Frederick (likely died young) and Georgiana (b. 1815 in Jersey, Channel Islands), Thomas Campbell (born Lyme Regis), Jane, Louisa.
Thomas was one of the Executors of his brother John (Schreiber) Lateward's will. It was proved July 15, 1814.
