My mother and Alan were married on August 25th, 1979 in Mosher Park located in Ravena New York. The date of the wedding is engraved upon their headstone.

The reason I have never met the person named Norvelle Alderson in the obit of my step-father's, is simply because she disrespected my mother as she lay dying in the hospital. And if you don't get the hint of what I just said, I will be more then happy to share.

Number 1 my stepfather had called me before he died. And the conversation went something like this, Carol (yes I was called by the name as little Carol as a child), I am calling and asking for forgiveness of the things I done to you and your brothers. My reply was exactly " Alan ( I never called him or referred to him as "Dad" .. ever), our Mother raised us to believe you had a sickness and that we had to overlook all the evils you did. It wasn't you and we had to forgive you, she even asked me to do so upon her deathbed. So in respect to my mother and my heavenly father I do forgive you. So if those are the words you needed to hear to have a clear mind, then take these words to heart for they are spoken with a clear mind of forgiveness. I did not know that he would die shortly afterwards.

Number 2, my step father ensured he could no longer have children after his first marriage, whom were his only 2 children's proper mother. Whom resided with their mother and raised by their mother, whom were rarely at my mother's home while we were children. My mother was his 2nd wife, and whoever Norvelle is, was his 3rd wife.
