Biography
Private Ithamar Ward served with Col. Job Cushing's Regiment of Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Ithamar Ward was the eldest child of Artemas and Sarah Trowbridge Ward and was born in Shrewsbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay (now Shrewsbury, Massachusetts), on April 24, 1752.[1]
Ithamar Ward of Shrewsbury, served as a Private in Capt. Job Cushing's company of Minutemen and militia, Col. Artemas Ward's (his father) regiment, which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775, to Cambridge, Massachusetts. He served for 29 days and returned home. [2]
He died on July 2, 1828 and is interred at Phillipston Center Cemetery, Phillipston, Massachusetts. [3]
