Frederick William Mackenzie Spring was born on 16 October 1841 in Karrack, Bombay, India[1], the son of Jane Balfour MacKenzie and Frederick Spring.[2][3]
At the time of the 1851 England Census, Frederick was living in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England, with his uncle George Thomas Spring.[2]
Frederick's son was Frederick Gordon Spring (1878–1963).[4][5]
Frederick died in 1916 in Sussex, England.[6] Probate was granted on 16 February 1916.[7] The beneficiaries listed were William George King and George Clement Clarence.
According to The Peerage, Frederick died in 1925; and his parents were Francis Spring and Sara Day.[4] These claims are incorrect.
