Biography

Ann was born about 1785. She is the daughter of Francis Kerby and Elizabeth Collard.

In September 1827, Ann's uncle John Baptist Kerby granted her a parcel of land in Prince George's County, Maryland, "in consideration of the natural love and affection which he the said John Baptist Kerby hath and beareth unto the said Ann Talbott and her four children" and "for the better maintenance, support, livelihood, and preferment of the said Ann Talbott and her four children." [1]

Ann sometimes boarded her nephews, sons of her brother George, in the Spaldings area of Prince George's county, after their father's death. [2]
