Mary was the daughter of Lewis Dunbar Woodyard and Pheobe Buffington.

1880 lived with parents and 10 siblings in Jefferson Township, Monroe County, Missouri. 1880 attended school. Could not write.

March 30, 1887 married George A. Darnell in Pike County, Illinois.^[1]

Last child born in 1890.

She's not on the 1900 census (which was supposed to be enumerated 1 June 1900) with her husband and two boys. The boys had already been "placed" with other families as shown on their censuses.
