Sarah's middle initial is given as "L" in the 1870 MA Census. At this time she was listed as "keeping house.". 1

Sarah died on 31 Dec 1872 in Stoneham, Middlesex, MA. She was married, age 30 years, 10 months, and 25 days. She died of "organic disease of the heart and lungs." She was a resident of Stoneham at the time of her death. Her birthplace is listed as Brooksville, ME, and her parents were William Isaac and Sarah B. Hooper, both b. in Brooksville, ME.^[8]
