Biography

Thomas William Sheridan was born on about 25 June 1858^[1]. He was the son of William Sheridan and Margaret Allen.

He married Catherine Blunden on 30 June 1897 at Plympton, Lambton, Ontario, Canada^[2]. They went on to have at least five children.

In the Canada Census of 1901, Thomas Sheridan (aged 41 and a Farmer) was recorded living with his wife Katherine Sheridan (38) and their two young children Loyd Sheridan (2) and Isla Sheridan (b. 1 Jan 1901) at Grey Township, Huron, Ontario. Also in the household was his widowed mother Margaret Sheridan (61)^[3].

In the Canada Census of 1911, Thos Sheridan (aged 50) was recorded living with his wife Catherine Sheridan (41) and their five children Loyd Sheridan (13), Isla Sheridan (10), Reta Sheridan (7), Minnie Sheridan (5) and Edward Sheridan (1) in Lambton West Sub-Districts 1-37, Ontario^[4].

In the Canada Census of 1931, Thomas Sheridan (aged 72) was recorded living with his wife Katharine Sheridan (61) at Plympton, Ontario. Also in the household was their unmarried daughter Isla Sheridan (30)^[5].

Thomas William Sheridan passed away on 20 November 1938 at the age of 80, as a result of Myocardial Degeneration due to Arteriosclerosis. He also suffered from Dropsy. He was buried on 22 November 1938 at Beechwood Cemetery, Forest, Lambton County, Ontario, Canada^[6].
