Biography
Dailey was born in 1889. He passed away about 1981. He was born at home in Charlotte, TN. He was married in 1910 to Dolly Thedford and they lived with his father and raised his children at their homeplace. They had a small farm raising corn, tobacco, hogs and cattle. His boys worked as well when they came to age.

Things I remember about Pappy.... He was very quiet and let my grandmother do the talking. He loved the small bottle cokes and smoked Lucky Strike Cigarettes. He was so easy to love....he loved his family and his smile let you know. When we buried him, we put a small coke and a pack of Lucky Strikes in his casket, just in case! "Barbara Gene"
