Louisa was born in 1806. She passed away in 1880.

Burial in May, 1880 at the Hinckley Ridge Cemetery (Plot: Sec 4 Row 12 Plot 65), Hinckley, Medina County, Ohio.

Died, in Hinckley, Ohio, May 6th, 1880, Mrs. Louisa A Marquit Finch McCreary. She was born August 2nd, 1806, in Livingston's Manor, Columbia county, N.Y. She was married to William Finch in Arcadia, Wayne county, N.Y., May 22nd, 1828, with whom she lived happily until death called him from her in Hinckley Oct. 4th, 1849.

Ten years after their marriage they moved from Palmyra, N.Y., to Ohio and settled in Hinckley. To them was born two sons and five daughters, three of whom only survive her, Dr. A.D. Finch and Mrs. Kate Kratzinger, both of Anna, Ill., and Mrs. H.M. Wait, of Hinckley, all of whom were with her when she died and at the funeral. She was married to Andrew McCreary, Dec. 6th, 1854, which union has been a very happy one indeed.

She early gave her heart to Christ at the age of fifteen, choosing him for her portion, who has been her comfort and guide all through these almost sixty years, during which time she has adhered to the profession of her faith in her Redeemer. She has ever and always expressed great confidence in her Savior, bearing affliction and the loss of her husband with great resignation, believing that God doeth all things well. She died in peace and hope through Jesus of a blessed immortality, in full trust and expectation of a better inheritance.
