Wilbert S Colyer Monday Dec 22 1952 a residen of the Taft Hotel 4 W Market St died of heart attack at 3:40am today at the hotel. He was 52yr. Mr Colyer was born in Lwtn a son of Samuel Colyer of Fairview and the late Cora Walters Colyer. His first wife the former Kathryn McCoy died in 1941. In 1947 he married the former Bessie Abt and the Colyers resided at the hotel. He is survived by the following brother and sisters Mrs. Ross Edna Earnest of Lwtn Heights, Mrs. Geo. Naomi Bender of RD 3 Lwtn, Mrs. Joseph Raeanna Hockenberry of Fairview, Homer Colyer and Orville Colyer of W 6th St. and Lester Colyer of Hbg. Mr Colyer was employed as a dray man by Yearick Dray He was a Lutheran by faith and a member of the Brooklyn Hose Co. Funeral services will be held on Wed. at 2pm at the Heller & Baudoux funeral home The Rev. Wilberton Neff will officiate and interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery.
