Elizabeth Manning was born in 1800[1] to Reuben and Sarah (Staton) Manning.[2]
She married Henry Everett, some time in or before 1826.[3]
Children of Henry and Elizabeth (Manning) Everett:[3][4]
William "Eli" Everett, b. abt. 1817, m. Sara Penniah Williams[5][6]
Reuben Everett, b. 1820, m. Millie Ann Everett[7][8]
Staton Everett, b. abt. 1825-7, m. Jackie Ann Little[9][10]
Emilia Everett, b. 28 August 1831, m. James O. Cherry[11]
Irine Everett, b. abt. 1834
Henry Everett, b. 6 September 1836, m. Mary Amanda Brown[12][13]
James Everett, b. abt. 1840, might be James S. Everett who m. Annie Little[14]
Elizabeth Jane Everett, b. 2 September 1838, m. William Tillmond Keel[15][16]
Simon Everett, b. abt. 1842
Jennette L. Everett, b. abt. 1845
The age gap and relative age of the two oldest of the above named children suggests the possibility that Elia and Reuben were children of Henry by a wife who preceded Elizabeth Manning, but there is no strong evidence of such.
No record of Henry or Elizabeth Everett has been been found after the 1860 census, although their modern gravestone gives a death date for Henry of 1867.[17]

↑ Elizabeth (Manning) Everett's maiden name is given on her gravestone, though it is modern. It is not clear why Elizabeth's Find A Grave profile asserts her mother's maiden name was Whitney. Elizabeth's grandfather Jesse Staton named her mother Sarah Manning as his daughter in his will, and the name Staton is quite common in Sarah Manning's descendants.
