Biography
Joseph Shaw was born about 1790 in the State of Maryland. He married Cynthia Clement on the 19th of February 1822 in Lawrence County, IL. Cynthia was the daughter of John Clements and his 1st wife Elizabeth Farol .
Joseph Shaw may have been a relative to Prudence Shaw who married Francis Clement, son of Benjamin Clement and Lucinda "Lucy" Bailey. And Benjamin was a brother to John Clements , so Francis Clement would have been John's Nephew.
