Dorothy was born in 1783.
Dorothy married Henry Nourse on 6 September 1804 in Ewanrigg Workington, Cumberland, England.[1]
Their children were born in and around London, England, and in 1820, the family emitrated to South Africa. They travelled with her brother-in-law, Commodore Jospeh Nourse RN, CB, who had been appointed as commander of the fleet at Simonstown, Cape. Their voyage was on HMS Vigo.
Dorothy died in 1830 in South Africa.[2]
