Biography

Amanda Peterson was born in 1869. She married George H. Dailey. Amanda died in 1955, aged 86, in Warren, Warren Pennsylvania (where she was also born). She is buried with her husband at Westview Cemetery, Starbrick, Warren, Pennsylvania.^[1]

There is a very confusing entry on familysearch.org. family tree/life sketch for George H. Dailey. Two different women named Amanda Peterson are linked to George as wives. The first one is correct. The second one is in error, because 1) George is buried with his wife, the first one listed, and, 2) the second Amanda, apparently never married, and is buried in another cemetery (with the parents she is linked to on FindAGrave and on Life Sketch, ^[2]for George H. Dailey. Please scroll down and click on the associated links. George’s wife died in 1955. The other Amanda Peterson died in 1968. It is possible he married again, although I have found no evidence of this. And, the odds of marrying two women with the same name are slim. Plus, the second Amanda is buried under her maiden name.
