"There was a John Frink in Ipswich, MA, in the 1630s, but no relationship between him and John of Stonington has been proved. John of Ipswich, his wife, probably Mary Wood, and two sons, John and George, settled in Kittery, Maine, and their descendants were in Maine and Massachusetts for several generations."[1] Based on this information, I removed John Frink as his son. John of Ipswich's will dated 26 Dec 1674 mentioned his wife and two sons John and George as well as his estate "where ever it bee eyther in old England or New" and was proved 29 Sep 1675 in Essex Co MA.[2]

From all the evidence that I can see on the profiles of John Frinke and John Frink, they were not father and son. It looks like John Frinke did have a son named John, but his son went to either Maine or Massachusetts, not Connecticut.
Does anyone object to my removing the connection between them?
No problem at all, if you see the evidence supports this. Could you please add a quick note within the bio ("disconnected from son ___________ based on ______ evidence/sources") so that future researchers don't reconnect them without first finding new evidence. Thanks.
