Biography

Hezekiah Lovejoy was born on 18 Mar 1777, the son of Jacob Lovejoy and Sarah (Rollins) Lovejoy.^[1] His birth is recorded on that date in the vital records of Fayette, Maine,^[2] which was then known as Sterling Plantation and was part of Lincoln County, Massachusetts.
