Joseph Young III was born in 1770 in Gorham, Cumberland, Maine District of Massachusetts Bay Province, New England.

He married Lydia Snow, b: Feb. 1776 in Gorham ME, on November 7, 1793. They were married and lived in Gorham, Cumberland, Maine. The couple lived in Gorham, Maine and had the following 6 children: [1]

  2. Enos YOUNG b: 2 Jul 1795 in Gorham, Cumberland Co., ME
  3. Affia YOUNG b: 17 Jul 1797 in Standish, Cumberland Co., ME
  4. Anna YOUNG b: 7 Apr 1800 in Gorham, Cumberland Co., ME
  5. Joseph F. YOUNG b: 25 Apr 1804 in Gorham, Cumberland ME
  6. Jane YOUNG b: ca. 1806 in Gorham, Cumberland Co., Maine

Joseph Young III passed away in 1810 at 40 years old, leaving his wife with several young children to raise. He died in Gorham, Cumberland, Maine District, Massachusetts, USA. No Find A Grave memorial has been found for him. [2]
