- Florence Mary Arnold (1854-1936) was the daughter of William Delafield Arnold and Frances Ann Hodgson.
- She was baptised on the30th of July 1854 at Holy Trinity, Paddington, London, England.
- The 4 children had been sent back to England in January 1859.
- His mother died in 1858 and his father the following year, in 1859. Edward and his three siblings were adopted by her father's sister Jane Martha Arnold and her husband, Rt. Hon. William Edward Forster.
- In 1878 each of their children changed their surname by deed poll to Arnold-Forster.
- She married Robert Vere O'Brien (son of Hon. Robert O'Brien and Elinor Jane Alicia Lucy de Vere) on 10 July 1883 at St. George Hanover Square, London
- They had the following children:

- Florence Margaret Vere O'Brien
- Aubrey William Vere O'Brien (b. 29 Nov 1885, d. 7 Oct 1925)
