WEDDINGS.

HINES-SLEISHMAN. - At the Immaculate Conception Church, Tighe's Hill, on February 16, Molly, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Sleishman, of Islington, was married to Thomas, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Hines, of Narrandera, the Rev. Father McGurk officiating. As the bride entered the church on the arm of her father, Mrs. Kelly, of Sydney, and Mr. Ralph Stephenson, cousins of the bride, played "The Wedding March." The bride wore a frock of satin and silver lace, with an overdress of georgette, trimmed with pearls. Her court train was lined with shell pink georgette and silver tissue, and her necklet of pearls was a gift from the bridegroom. The bridesmaids were Miss Maud Sleishman, who wore a frock of powder blue crepe-de-Chine, beaded in gold, and Miss Ilma Sleishman wore a frock of shell pink crepe-de-Chine, trimmed with georgette, and hand-made gold flowers. They wore large picture hats, and their armlets were gifts from the bridegroom. Mr. Cliff Kempster acted as best man, and Mr. Reg Sleishman was groomsman. The bride's mother received the guests, wearing a gown of cinnamon brocaded marocain. The bride's travelling dress was of navy marocain, with black satin coat, with hat to tone. Mr. and Mrs. Hines left for Katoomba.[9]
