Biography

Mary Norton was born on 3 Jun 1730 in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America to Rowland Norton and Lydia (Fowler) Norton.[1]

She married William Huntington on 26 October 1748 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[2]

William's and Mary's children were born in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony and include:
Daughter, Judith Huntington (b.1749)[3]
Daughter, Hannah Huntington (b.1754)[4]
Son, Isaac Huntington (b.1758)[5]
Son, Ephraim Huntington (b.1762)[6]

She died in 1792.[7]

Research Notes

The Find a Grave memorial for Jacob Galusha Sr. mistakenly states: "He married Mary Norton on 26, October 1748, in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusets. They had five boys."[8]

Whereas, primary sources indicate:
1) Mary Fowler Norton married William Huntington on 26 October 1748 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
2) William Huntington and Mary (Norton) Huntington had 4 children.
