Biography
Vaneta Timmons was born 4 July 1901 in Hanson, Hopkins, Kentucky. [1][2][3][4][5][6] She was the daughter of Dr. James D. Timmons and Charlotte (Ashby) Timmons. [1][2] [4]
In 1910, Vaneta, age 8, lived in Hopkins, Kentucky with parents and sister BeBee. [1] In 1920, Vaneta, age 18, lived in Hanson, Hopkins, Kentucky with parents and sister. [2]
She married Henry Callis and had two children, Bettie J and James H. In 1930, Vaneta Callis, age 28, lived in Hanson, KY with husband Henry and children. [3]
In 1940, Vaneta, age 38, lived in Hanson, KY in her parents' household with husband Henry and children, Betty J and James H. [4]
Vaneta, near 50, died of breast cancer on 23 June 1951 in Madisonville, Hopkins, Kentucky. [5] She was buried at West Lawn Cemetery, Hanson, Hopkins County, Kentucky. [6]
