Biography

Leander was born in 1824. He died in 1895 at the age of 70 - 71.

Leander served as a Private with McCord's Frontier, Texas Calvary, 33rd Regiment during the Civil War. He was also the Sheriff of Atascosa County, Texas in 1869 - 1873.

Parents: John William Peacock 1762 - 1823 and Elizabeth Ann (Woodward) Peacock 1782 - 1844. Ann is the daughter of a American Revolution Patriot per D.A.R.
