Biography

Benjamin Ralph Newbold was born in November 1854 in Spanish Wells, Eleuthera, Bahamas to John Solomon Newbold Sr. and Sarah Pinder Newbold.

He married Louisa Williams in Monroe County, Florida 16 August 1878. The couple had children William Leonard, Lillian Irene, Harold Randolph, Benjamin Ralph Jr., Robert Lee, Winn Frazier, and Ruby Leota Newbold.

Benjamin Ralph Newbold died in Coconut Grove, Dade County, Florida 27 July 1896 at 41 years of age.
