Biography

Ernest was born November 19, 1896 in Johnson City, Washington County, Tennessee. He was the son of Moore Strickland and Rivanna Fine.

On August 27, 1921 he married Grace Massey in Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan. ^[1]

Ernest registered for the WWI draft on June 5, 1918 in Washington County, Tennessee. He listed he was born November 19, 1896 and that his brother, Dayton R. Strickland was his nearest relative. Ernest is described as medium height, medium build with blue eyes and brown hair. ^[2]

He passed away March 12, 1945 in Waterford, Oakland County, Michigan. ^[3]
