Frances Harrison was born in Yorkshire, England. She was the daughter of Thomas Harrison and Johan Unknown.
Frances married William Robinson, merchant of Newby, York, as his second wife.
Frances Robinson died in 1593 in York. She was buried on 4 March 1593 in St Crux church, as Lady Robinson, as her husband was twice Lord Mayor of York.[1]
Dugdale's (Clay) of 1899 states that her husband's son, Thomas, was aged 49 at the time of his father's death in 1616, and is the son of William's first wife, Isabel. Burke's of 1838 states that Thomas was the son of his second wife, Frances. As Isabel died in 1590, Thomas must be the son of Isabel.
