Mephibosheth was the son of Daniel & Hannah (Chandler) Bixby
He married Mary Emmons in 1713 at Cambridge, Middlesex, MA Bay - theirr children were Daniel, Mary, Samuel, Jonathan, David, Nathaniel & Martha Bixby
They moved from Andover to Wobrn, MA in Apr 1724. In Apr 1732 he bought land in Shrewsbury, MA and moved there. In about 1761 he moved with his son Daniel to Winchendon, MA
He was a cordwainer (shoemaker)
Administration of his estate was granted to his son Daniel on 11 May 1768
