Jean Baptiste Badeau was born and baptized on 29 April 1741 in Québec (ND), son of Charles Badeau and Catherine Desrochers.[1]
A notary of the Province of Québec/Bas-Canada. A royalist, Badeaux kept a diary.[2] in which he noted the events that took place in Trois-Rivières and the surrounding region during the American Revolution.[3]
