Biography

Joe was born in 1931. He is the son of Claude Roberts and Della Parsley. His father passed away by the time he was 2. He worked for the Sunshine Mining Co. in 1950, prior to being drafted for "Korean Police Action". In 1954 he returned to the mine. On or about 1/13/1962 he was part of a mine rescue operation in which his brother Sterling Page was killed (find source). He retired from the Sunshine Mining Co. in 1982.
