Biography

Mighill was born in 1777. He is the son of Daniel Blood and Sarah Putnam. He first preached in Orland, Maine. Later Mighill founded the Trinitarian Church of Bucksport, where he ministered to his flock for 38 years. He married Abigail His in 1803 in Billerica.^[1] Census records show he was in Bucksport from 1810-1850. In 1817 he was initiated as a Mason in Felicity Lodge #19 in Bucksport, the same lodge so many of my male relatives belonged to. ^[2]
