Biography
Thomas was the son of Thomas Brisbane and Isabel Nicholson.[1][2][3] born about 1740. He married Eleanora Bruce, daughter of Sir William Bruce, baronet of Stenhouse[1] on 31 Mar 1771.[4] They had issue:
- Thomas, the heir, b. 23 Jul 1773[1][3]
- Michael, went to India where he died[1][3]
- Mary[1][3]
- Isabella[3]
He entered the army and served as captain along with the Duke of Argyle in the battle of Culloden.
After the death of his uncle, he was served heir of Brisbane on 15 Sep 1770.
Thomas passed away in 1812.[1][2][3]
