Biography
James was born on or about 5 February 1835 in Drum, County Monaghan, Ireland (According to his marriage and death certificates James Hueston was born in Drum, Monaghan, Ireland to John Hueston and Margaret Stewart on/about 1839).
He arrived in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia from his homeland in Ireland on the "Tiptree" on the 12 January 1857 [1]
His marriage to Sarah Ann Chesterman (1850-1939) took place [2] on the 3 August 1871 at the Wesleyan Church at Clunes.
James and Sarah had the following children together:

Wise's post office directory in 1904 recorded James thusly: Hueston James, Farmer, Mooroopna North
At the age of 70 after suffering from pneumonia for a week, James passed away on the 16 October 1907 in Mooroopna, Victoria, Australia[3]. He was buried at the Mooroopna Cemetery[4].
