Biography

John was born about 1785. * Descendants of Sarah Weller When John (m; Carmer; m. Maybury) Beam was born on May 19, 1779, in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, his father, Johannes, was 22 and his mother, Sarah, was 19. He married Phoebe Carmer in 1800 and had two children together.. He then married Keturah "Catura" (m. Beam) Maybury and they had six children together. He died on September 27, 1833, in Dryden, New York, at the age of 54.

When John was 27 he married Caturah (Mayberry) Beem (1789-1856) on 25 September 1806 in Sussex County, New Jersey.^[1]

In 1830 John (age about 50) was living in Dryden, Tompkins Co., New York, United States.^[2]
