Biography
Jeremiah Harden was born about 1780. He was the son of Presley Harden and Susanna Williams. He married Elizabeth Click 3 January 1821 in Jefferson County, Alabama.[1] He passed away about 1828.

I give to my beloved wife Elizabeth (Click) Harden (abt.1790-) after paying all legal demands all my real and personal property to dispose of as she thinks proper among my children viz. Susan Taylor Harden (abt.1822-),John Click Harden (abt.1823-1849), Peter Harden (1824-1903) and Margaret Jane Harden (5-44) as they become of age or marry and at her deceased to be equally divided among my children and further it is my desire that John Click Senr and John Click Jr should be my Executors to this my last will and testament. Given under my hand seal the day and date above written. Signed and sealed in the presence of Jas Harrison Thomas Merritt Signed: Jere Harden. January Court 1829, January 7, 1829 executors approved and will filed.
