Biography

Hannah Osgood was born on 12 August 1799 in Fryeburg, Maine. Her parents were James Osgood and Abigail (Evans) Osgood[1].

She married Clement J. Adams on 3 July 1821 in Fryeburg, Maine[2]. They settled in Limington, where they had eight children[3]:

1. Edward Lewis Osgood, born 8 Apr 1822; died young
2. Sarah Jane, born 28 Jan 1825; died young
3. Charles Carroll, born 7 Sep 1829
4. Susan Osgood, born 27 Jan 1832; married Alonzo Walker
5. Edward Lewis Osgood, born 27 Jul 1827; married Lydia Walker
6. James Riley, born 19 Nov 1834
7. Unnamed infant, born and died in May 1837
8. Unnamed son, born and died Aug 1839

Hannah passed away on 20 August 1839 in Limington[4] and is buried in Fryeburg Village Cemetery in Fryeburg[5].
