Biography
Charles Fogg was born on 6 June 1763 in Scarborough, Maine. His parents were Reuben Fogg and Margaret (Elder) Fogg[1].
He married Anna Small on 14 October 1788 in Scarborough. They had eight children[2]:
- 1. Hannah, born 15 Mar 1792; married George Smith
- 2. Sarah F., born 26 May 1794; married John Sawyer
- 3. David B., born 27 Aug 1796; married Betsey Black
- 4. Charles, born 18 Nov 1798; married Hannah Wentworth
- 5. Nancy, born 8 Jul 1801
- 6. Dorothy F., born 29 Feb 1804; married Orrin Weeman
- 7. Catherine, born 1807; married Paul Vinal
- 8. Mary F., born 1808; married Elisha Thomas
Charles was a soldier during the American Revolution. He passed away on 24 September 1839 in Lowell, Massachusetts[3], while visiting his youngest daughter[4] and is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery in Brownfield, Maine[5].
