Biography
Reuben Brackett was born on 23 March 1764 in Berwick, Maine[1]. His parents were Samuel Brackett and Mehitable (Ricker) Brackett[2].
He married Jane McArthur on 11 January 1791 in Buxton, Maine[3]. They had seven children[4]:
- 1. Reuben, born 14 Dec 1791; married Eliza Stackey
- 2. Mary, born 18 May 1794
- 3. Oliver, born 19 Jun 1798; died young
- 4. Oliver, born 18 Jun 1801
- 5. Elvira, born 21 Feb 1804; married Josiah Marston
- 6. Jane H., born 23 Jun 1808
- 7. Joseph J., born 8 Feb 1814; married Ann Maria Fluent
Reuben passed away on 21 April 1846 in Limington, Maine[5].
