Biography

Sarah Hoyt was born on 3 February 1740 in Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Abraham Hoyt and Hannah Bates.

Sarah married John Holmes on 30 January 1769 in Stamford.

She died on 1 December 1821 in Darien, Fairfield, Connecticut. She was buried in Noroton River Graveyard, Darien, Fairfield County, Connecticut.
