Biography

Comfort Amanda Hasty was born on 8 February 1802 in Limington, Maine. Her parents were Robert Hasty and Mary (Boody) Hasty[1].

She married William Edgecomb on 28 August 1836 in Limington[2]. They had four children[3]:

1. Benjamin, born 1837; died young
2. Sally, born 2 Mar 1840; married William Drew
3. Olive Frances, born Mar 1841; married Lemuel Hatch
4. Mary, born 21 May 1842; married Samuel Philpot

William passed away in 1860, and Comfort married Samuel Drew on 31 July 1862 in Limington[4].

Comfort passed away in September 1876 in Smyrna, Maine[5].
