Biography
Sir St George Ralph Gore, 9th Bt was born on 21st September 1841 at New South Wales. He was the eldest child of St George Richard Gore and Frances Caldwell.[1] He was christened on 20th October 1841.[2]
To avoid confusion with his similarly named father, he usually went by his middle name of Ralph.
He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Gore, of Magherabegg, County Donegal on 31st December 1878 following the death of his father's first cousin, Sir Ralph St George Gore (1811-78).
Ralph married Eugenia Marion Browne, daughter of Hon. Eyles Irwin Caulfeild Browne, on 6th April 1876 at Queensland.[3] Children of Sir St George Ralph Gore, 9th Bt. and Eugenia Marion Browne[4]

Sir Ralph passed away, aged just 46 years, on 17th October 1887 at home at Lyndhurst, Warwick and is buried in Brisbane General Cemetery, Toowong, Queensland.[5] The headstone inscription reads, "In Loving Memory Of St George Ralph Gore Eldest Son Of St George Richard Gore Of Lyndhurst, Warwick".[6]
