Biography

Ephraim Cook was born on 19 July 1760 in Dover, New Hampshire. His parents were Daniel Cook and Annie (Varney) Cook^[1].

He married Mary Gould on 27 October 1803 in Otisfield, Maine^[2]. They had six children^[3]:

1. Robinson, born 16 Mar 1803; married 1st Lorana Sanborn, 2nd Eliza Ann Maxfield

2. Martha, born 27 Nov 1804; married Nathan Gammon

3. Elizabeth, born 1 Dec 1806; married Josiah Swett

4. Sarah Jane, born 15 Jun 1809; married Nathan Maxfield

5. Obediah Gould, born 12 Jan 1815

6. Stephen, born 30 Apr 1817; died 1844

Ephraim passed away on 21 July 1853 and is buried in Cook Pinkham Cemetery^[4].
