Bio: ~ My 2nd Great Grandfather ~
Solomon's middle name was his Mother's maiden name. He moved from Wallingford, Connecticut to Dalton, Georgia and opened a tailor shop, as that was his trade and his Father's. He had several children by different wives. Of Mary Ann Long, he had Margaret Parker, Florence E. Parker, Horace Robert Parker, Annie S. Parker. Orrin G. Parker was born to Solomon and his last wife, Martha A White. Florence was born in Wallingford, Connecticut. The rest I believe were born in Dalton.
Florence married Hiram Walter Parker Bohannon in 1883.
