Amy Southerton is given in "Complete Baronetage" as daughter of Sir Austin Southerton.[1] Francis Blomefield on the other hand has her as daughter of Thomas Sotherton and Frances Cheek, she who married Lestrange Mordaunt as his second wife.[2]
Her first husband whom she married in or before 1615 was Sir Robert Mordaunt Bt, son of Sir Lestrange Mordaunt Bt and his first wife, Margaret de Charles.[1]

Amy died in 1668 and was buried at St Paul Covent Garden on the 26th of March.[1]
