Ann Boun, the daughter of Gilbert Boun, Sergeant at Law and Recorder of Newark, married Robert Thoroton, the author of "The Antiquities of Nottinghamshire" [1].
Robert was the son and heir of Robert Thoroton of Car Colston, Nottinghamshire, and was aged 39 in 1662. He was a "Doctor of Physick". [2]
