Lydia, daughter of John and Mary (Cooke) Thompson, was born in Barnstable on October 5, 1659 and died in Middleborough on March 14, 1741/2. She is a descendant of Mayflower passenger Francis Cooke. She is buried with her husband at The Green Cemetery in Middleboro: Find A Grave: Memorial #20706347 Lydia Soule
She married James Soule in Duxbury on December 14, 1693. James is the son of John and Rebecca (Simmons) Soule. He was born in Duxbury on October 4, 1659 and died in Middleborough on August 27, 1744. (NOTE: Middleboro Deaths erroneously lists his death as "Thomas Soule.")
