Thomas Style son of Sir Thomas Style and his wife, Elizabeth Folkes, [1]was born at St John's Lane, Smithfield at Christmas time in 1624. [2] His father died 18 October 1637 and Thomas inherited the baronetcy aged 12. He was educated at Merton College, Oxford whence he matriculated on 16 April 1641. [2] In 1656 he was returned to Parliament as member for Kent and again in 1659 [3] but didn't seek election after the restoration. [4]
He married Elizabeth Armyne, daughter of William Baronet Armyne [1] and his wife, Elizabeth Hicks.[2] Elizabeth bore Thomas at least 4 sons but the 3 eldest pre-deceased their father. She died on 10 December 1679 and was buried at Wateringbury. [2]
Thomas second wife was Margaret Twysden, daughter of Thomas Baronet Twysden of Bradburne in Kent,[1] and his wife, Jane Tomlinson who presented him with a son, Thomas. [2]
Thomas died on the 19th November 1702 and was buried at Wateringbury.[2]
