Biography
Sarah was born about 1807. She was the daughter of Zachariah Cook and Martha Andrick.
She married Edmund/Edward in 1831. They had the following children: 1. Eliza 2. Zachariah 3. Elizabeth 4. Edward 5. Christopher 6. John 7. Henry
Note: In the 1860 Census, Sarah's 13 year old great-nephew, (grandson of her sister Margaret Cook Fullwiler Zimmerman) was living in Sarah and Edward's household. Her great-nephew was named Charles Dikes. He was the son of Henry Dykes and Mary Fullwiler Dykes, who had passed away shortly after her son Charles was born. Henry had married second his wife's sister, Sarah Fullwiler Dykes and they had several children together.
Sarah Butler passed away in 1875. She and her husband are buried in Beaver Union Cemetery, Pike, Ohio. There is a photo of her headstone.
