Timothy Abraham Curtis was born on 31 January 1786 in Edmonton, Middlesex, and died on 13 May 1857 at Blenheim Park in Oxfordshire.[1] He was Governor of the Bank of England from 4 April 1837[2] to 8 April 1839.[3]
Timothy Abraham Curtis married Harriet Margaret Green on 25 April 1809[4] at Wanstead[5] in Essex.

Emma Charlotte Curtis, born 20 October 1812 and baptized 16 March 1813;[7]

Alfred John Curtis, born 4 September 1818 and baptized 15 October 1818;[9]
James Charles Curtis, born 8 January 1820 and baptized 20 March 1820;[10]
Elizabeth Ann Curtis, baptized on 23 August 1821;[11]
Frances Moreton Curtis, born 24 November 1823 and baptized 12 May 1824;[12]
Arthur Henry Curtis, born 4 May 1825 and baptized 30 July 1825;[13]
Annette De La Touraine Curtis, born in Tours, France in 1829.
The death of Harriet Margaret Curtis was registered in the West Derby[14] district in the second quarter of 1847. A death notice in The Times on 9 June 1847 said "On 8th inst., at Liverpool, after a long and distressing illness, HARRIET MARGARET, the wife of T. A. CURTIS, ESQ.".
Timothy Abraham Curtis married Frances Pitt Brown on 17 May 1851[15] at Melling[16] in Lancashire.
