Anne married Thomas on 23 February 1594/5 at Elsing, Norfolk - the parish register records "Thomas Plater and Anne Browne the daughter of Anthony Browne were married'.
Anne died 7 October 1642 and was buried 9 October 1642, Holy Trinity, Heydon, Essex.
The will of Anne Playters of Heydon, probate 28 October 1642, mentions Sir William Playters ( her "Son-in-Law") and her sons : Lyonell, John & Roger - the last two were sole executors. Daughter Elizabeth Soames is also named in the will together with a long list of Soames grandchildren, mostly girls, - as well as Anne's grandson, Anthony Playters, son of Anthony Playters of London, deceased. ( Anthony senior is presumed also to be one of her sons, rather than a son of the previous wife, Anne Swan, since Anthony is her father's name - and she refers to her grandson (not grandson-in-law).
Of son, Lyonell, she wrote: "the sum of 20 pounds of lawful English money. I would have enlarged it, but I conceive his brothers have more need.."
