Biography

Elisha was born in 1752. He was the son of Abiezar Holbrook and Hannah Trask. ^[1]

He married Sarah Burrell 15 Oct 1775.^[2][3]

He passed away in 1805. ^[4]

Research

Lincoln's History of the Town of Hingham, Massachusetts (The Town of Hingham, Massachusetts, 1893), as well as, Vital Records of Weymouth, Vol 1, p. 90, does confirm that Eliza married a Sarah Burrell of Hingham. Lincoln does not show that the Sarah Burrell he married was the daughter of of Daniel Burrell and Tabitha (Porter) Burrell. Each Sarah is listed separately. If Eliza was Sarah's second husband, then the marriage record should say that he married Sarah Bearse.
